Terms & Conditions, Returns and Exchange Policy

Overview

Should you want to buy 6 pairs and above please contact us for arrangements.

All sales and promotional items are sold “as is” with no guarantee and no exchange.

Our exchange and returns policy lasts 7 days after you receive the goods in your hands. If 7 days have passed since your receipt, we can’t offer you an exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. All sales and promotional items are sold “as is” with no guarantee and no exchange.

No return or exchange for:

• All factory seconds and factory rejects.
• Products on sale or promotion or cleared out.
• Worn shoes.
• Marked or damaged shoes and shoe boxes and if guarantee slip is not attached
  (guarantee is given on school shoes).
• Goods that has been sold out.
• Discontinued styles.
• Aged stock.
• No shoe laces.
• When guarantee is void (damage due to wear or misuse.

Proof of purchase must be presented with exchange. No proof of purchase no
exchange.

Courier charges for purchase and exchanges are borne by the buyer

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

The buyer bears the cost of sending back goods for exchanges hence the buyer is
encouraged to confirm, double check and be sure of the colour, sizes and styles
before you pay. If not sure please contact us.

All exchanges are done at our discretion at 10% handling fee on all exchanges or a
minimum of R10 per pair if the 10% happens to be below R10.

Gem Shoes Cash & Carry, branches and affiliates do not take liability or responsibility
when goods leave our premises, even when freight (courier) companies collect. The
buyer takes full responsibility when goods leave our premises, whether by person,
freight (courier) company or otherwise. Please be aware that the courier company
we use is Paxi. If you are not satisfied with using Paxi, you may choose your new
courier. Also bear in mind that you will have to pick up your parcel at your closest Paxi
branch. A reference number will be made available for you.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We will not be responsible for a wrong delivery address. Please take great care to
make sure you give the correct delivery address.

Paxi delivery rates depends on 2 factors, price and size but they are nationwide. For
Standard Bag whose size is 45cm max. width, 37cm max. height and weighs up to 5kg
that can accommodate 1 to 3 pairs depending with shoe type Paxi charges R59.95 for
7 – 9 business days delivery and R109.95 for 3 – 5 business days delivery. For a Large
Bag whose is 64cm max. width, 51cm max. height and weighs up to 10kg which can
accommodate up to 5 pairs depending with shoes type Paxi charges R109.95 for 7 – 9
business days delivery and R139.95 for 3 – 5 business days delivery.
